Product Description
VITAL Blend 5M is a blended liquid, combining 5 micron-sized BioChar charged with liquid Humate. Use our liquid blend alone or combine it with other liquid products for improved results. As an addition to fertilizer programs; the Humate is an excellent natural surfactant that improves the plants ability to assimilate nutrients in the soil.
The liquid blend is perfect for turf and lawn sprays, on large planting beds, in tree care programs, and with agricultural fertigation. The 5 micron-sized BioChar will not damage spray equipment and the blend is designed for companies who prefer liquid spray application instead of granular.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Nature isn’t exact, your rate doesn’t have to be either Turf/Garden & Landscape Beds: 4 – 6 oz of concentrate per 1,000 sq.ft.
Landscape & Garden Plants: 0.5 – 4 oz concentrate per plant.
Trees: apply to the area under canopy, rates are oz. of concentrate per inch of trunk – circumference or dbh (diameter) of trunk.
Small Trees: 1 – 25 in. circumference (use 0.6 oz. per inch) or 0.5 – 8 in. dbh (use 2 oz. per inch)
Medium Trees: 26 – 65 in. circumference (use 0.5 oz. per
inch) or 8 – 21 in. dbh (use 1.5 oz. per inch)
Large Trees: 66+ in. circumference (use 0.3 oz. per inch) or 22+ in. dbh (use 1 oz. per inch)
Tank Mix: 1 – 4 oz per gallon of diluted fertilizer or other mix & apply at their recommended manufacturer’s rates.
Remediation: Double the recommended application rates.

Vital Blend 5M Soil Amendment General Instructions for Use:
Mix concentrate with an appropriate amount of water (1-3 quarts/100 water)
- Turf Rates: 2-6 oz concentrate/1000 sf
- Trees Rates: 0.5-3 oz concentrate/inch-dbh (1-2 oz /dbh for maintenance applications)
- Landscape Bed/Garden Rates: 2-4 oz concentrate/500 sf
- Landscape Plant Rates: 1-4 oz concentrate/plant
Recommended Tank Mix: For maintenance applications, blend 1-2 oz concentrate per gallon of water and apply 1 gallon of solution per dbh.
