Elite Platinum meets the requirements for surfactant level of pesticides in the industry that requires or recommends the use of a nonionic surfactant. Other products may not. If the surfactant level is not stated on the competitive label, it may not meet the requirement on the label of the tank mix partner pesticide.
Elite Platinum is a superior-quality, nonionic surfactant designed to ensure the best performance of pesticides under a wide variety of conditions. The high level of surfactant (Elite Platinum is 70 percent surfactant) increases the spreading, wetting and penetration of pesticide products. The performance enhancement provided by Elite Platinum delivers greater control of hard-to-kill weeds, more thorough kills in target insects, better spreading for surface fungicides, and more consistent performance under a wider variety of conditions.
Nonionic surfactants that are significantly less expensive than Elite Platinum contain less surfactant. The amount of surfactant is the key to biological efficacy. More surfactant provides deeper, more thorough penetration of the surfaces of the target pests. Increased surfactant provides better efficacy in the control of other biological systems, as well.
