Before you get worked up and contact us about how much you loved the old Cougar positioning saddle and why would we change something that worked just fine—we didn’t. We didn’t change a single functional piece of this design. It still fits like you want, functions like you need and is easy to inspect so you know you can count on it for confidence with every climb.
What we did was try to make it look a little cooler. You clamber around in trees with a chainsaw tied to your belt for a living, so it’s not like you need our help to look like a legend. But we figured we could do a little something—a new logo, some metallic blue accents. It’s not much, but you don’t need much. You’ve got looking cool covered. We’ll take care of the helping-you-get-the-job-done-quickly-easily-comfortably part.

- All-Day Comfort Without the Bulk - The extra-wide 7" back pad extends forward on the hips and features dual-layer high-density memory foam that conforms to your body, reduces pressure points, wicks moisture, and stays cool. With a reinforced 4" batten seat with internal aluminum bar for solid support that is adjustable and replaceable.
- Suspension Bridge You Can Trust - The sewn webbing suspension bridge features a white and orange Spectra fiber overlay for strength and abrasion resistance, surrounding a black nylon tubular core for easier wear inspection. Includes two rubber bumpers and is compatible with forged aluminum rings. Fully replaceable.
- Adjustable for Custom Fit - Universal adjustability at the leg straps, bridge straps, and waist ensures a secure, personalized fit for a variety of body types. Adjustable accessory straps help keep your seat or pads in place during use.
- Built for Long Days - Breathable construction wicks moisture fast, keeping you dry and focused and minimizing chafing. Waist buckle includes a roller for smooth adjustment and reduced wear.
- Tools Where You Need Them - Two nylon utility straps with stainless steel 200 snaps and 2" nickel-plated rings keep gear close and secure—no wasted motion.
- Optional Suspenders - Front and back dees allow for quick attachment of suspenders (sold separately) when you want extra support for extended jobs.
